Nevations was created in memory of my dog, Neva. She passed away very suddenly a couple of years ago. In the midst of my grief, I found myself in possession of her cremains, in search of a fitting way to preserve my memories of her.
Having crafted fused glass for several years, it occurred to me that enclosing her ashes in glass would give me a discreet, loving and beautiful way of keeping her with me. Thus began my endeavor of fusing cremains in glass. Since that time, I have created many mementos for friends and family with people as well as pet cremains. At the urging of these wonderful supporters, I started this venture so others could experience this unique way of remembering loved ones.
